Daylight Savings Time and Smoke Detectors - March 10, 2019!
Lynda Cook
What happens March 10, 2019? It’s Daylight Savings Day/Spring Forward day which means not only moving your clock forward an hour, it also means it’s time to change the batteries in your smoke detectors. Also, did you know that smoke detectors should be replaced every 10 years? They aren’t meant to last a lifetime.
I have partnered with the Tea Volunteer Fire Department and if you are in need of smoke detectors, please reach out to me on my cell at 605-321-7186 or you can stop in at the Tea Volunteer Fire Department on the 1st, 2nd and 4th Mondays from 7 PM – 8 PM. They are FREE while supplies last.
Also, if you purchase a home through me, Lynda Cook, Broker/Owner of EXIT Realty Sioux Empire, you will receive a fire extinguisher and a carbon monoxide detector. It’s important to me that you and your family are safe!
The more you know, the safer you are!
